Stu took me to see Fishbone and the English Beat yesterday at Irving Plaza. I had a great time and it was great to hear songs like "Tenderness" and "Mirror in the Bathroom" but I really had to mention Fishbone's serious style.
I wish this picture did them justice. Their energy was incredible.

Choosing to be a student again has been the best time of my life.
I feel very lucky. And when it's all over I hope I don't miss it too much.
Speaking of my brain, can't get this out of my head. It will just pop up out of nowhere and stick. sigh.
Sadly, I wasn't able to make it to rock the bells, but this review gave me chills of nostalgia.

this girl stood for a while. all by herself - when no one else was. of course she was right in front of me.
then finally keyed in that her dumbass should sit itself down.
OOOOHhhhh i want to i really do. But at $270 a pop? i don't know...
edit: jimmyjam alerted me to the fact that perhaps they are cheaper elsewhere. i indeed found them for $113ish on various sites.
