cataloging

I sometimes run out of yarn in the middle of a project then panic because i forgot to keep the little wrapping that tells you the name of the yarn. I'm not really sure how people recall their yarn. no one else seems to have this problem. I think it's because of my lack of planning when it comes to patterns. anyway, i came up with a solution - first plan my patterns better - second catalogue my yarn. that way, if i ever want to make that scarf that i made way back when, i can look up the yarn i made it with.
